Project Management

Predictive-molding software identifies tool cavity issues

Ritus Engineers use an advanced software program that assists with validating a mold design prior to cutting steel. This step provides predictive analysis of the material compound as it fills either a rubber or plastics tool cavity.

Pre-ship structural test of cold-side air duct

Ritus houses over 30 pieces of laboratory and testing equipment to measure the performance of material compounds, the structural integrity of parts in production, and validation of design metrics.

Printer-generated, fully functioning, 3-dimensional prototype parts

Ritus’ test-lab has state-of-the-art, multi-material 3D printers, offering clients the ability to review and handle parts prior to releasing an expensive tooling order.

Manufacturing

Automation equipment improves safety, delivery-time, and reduces costs

Ritus has added twelve REP and five Desma rubber presses, along with two Toshiba plastics presses to our inventory, adding to the over 150 pieces of molding equipment that range in scale from 10 to 565 tons.  Our production line includes five fully-automated plastic molding presses and before the end of 2018 we will add semi-automation modules to many pieces of existing equipment. Finally, our plants house over seventy pieces of secondary equipment for trimming, deflashing, parts inspection, chemical priming, die-cutting, drying and more.
